Stone Lab Orientation Video
Director / DP / Editor
When students sign up for classes at Stone Laboratory, it can be overwhelming to think about the logistics of being on an island. How do I get there? Where will I sleep? Is food provided? Is there Wi-Fi???
Partnering with Ohio Sea Grant, I created a video that answers all your Stone Lab-related questions. Through handmade graphics, real island footage, and following a largemouth bass’s journey, this video serves as a valuable resource for students.
I really enjoyed the creative freedom I had on this piece. I was able to put my After Effect skills to the test with motion graphics, and crafted a storyline around a stuffed animal largemouth bass . With this video being dense with information, I spent a lot of time organizing my script to be as digestible as possible.
