Do you long for a time when Humphrey Bogart and James Stewart were Hollywood’s biggest stars? Where television was new and Bluetooth didn’t exist? Open your ears and let local Columbus band, Whirlybirds, take you back in time with 1940s classic jazz swing music.
I was curious why a band would choose to play music that’s rare to hear nowadays. To these gentleman, swing is all about having fun and creating good music. They enjoy improvising solos and performing live. Every song gets a personal touch from each musican that’s unique to each performance.
